After an excellent Saturday of the Atlanta Korean Festival and the L5P Halloween Parade, I got to experience the joy of Walker Stalker Con at the America’s Mart in Atlanta on Sunday. Although I did miss the Bromance panel between The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus on Saturday and some other cool things on Friday, I did get the opportunity to sit in on Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney and Lauren Cohan (Herschel, Beth and Maggie) as they spoke on a panel, Steven Yeun (Glenn) during his panel and I did catch a glimpse or two of Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) as he signed autographs. And as awesome as all of this was, two things eclipsed even these experiences. The first was a marriage proposal on stage by a fan and his girlfriend (now fiance) during the Greene family panel in front of Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney and Lauren Cohan. The second was the ginormous hug I got from IronE Singleton (T-Dog) as I passed by to set up for a shot of him signing autographs with fans. It was very unexpected and very cool to see how nice most of the actors are with the people who come to the con and are fans of the television series, now in its sixth year.
