There has been a push to move out of the stereotypical mall when it comes to shopping and go to outdoor developments like Atlantic Station or Buckhead Atlanta, that combine shopping, dining, entertainment and living all in one place. That being said, the newest of these developments is almost complete and Avalon in Alpharetta will have there grand opening on Oct. 30, which is just a little less than a week away. Modeled after the best parts of Atlantic Station, Avalon will feature plenty of open space for events, lots of cool shops like Orvis, Banana Republic and Kendra Scott, plenty of great restaurants such as Oak Steakhouse, and The El Felix, apartment and townhome living, a dog park for residents, a seasonal ice skating rink, EV charging stations, a twelve theater Regal Cinemas, children’s areas and so much more it’ll make your head spin.
