This weekend was the 10th annual Indie Craft Experience Holiday Shopping Spectacular. The two day artist festival featured 175 of Atlanta’s favorite artists as thousands of people came out to get some early shopping done. There was one very noticeable change this weekend. I am excited to report that gone are the days of very crowded aisles. ICE Atlanta has found a new home at the Georgia Freight Depot! The oldest standing building in the downtown area, more space has allowed more artists to showcase their craft and more room for the masses of people to pass by one another without getting bumped and bruised. (I may be over exaggerating just a smidge) I got to see some of my personal favorite Atlanta area artists on Sunday! Red Rocket Farm, Klapthor’s Universal Robots, Belligerent Monkey, Beautiful Briny Sea, Methane Studios and so many more artists all had booths set up. If you like the artist festival circuit and have not been to an Indie Craft Experience show you definitely need to add it to the calendar for next year!
