Seven years ago Stone Mountain Park came up with what is now a tradition in my family. Each December we pack up the car to go tubing down the main lawn at the park which is transformed into a winter wonderland. We can build a snowman or an igloo, try our aim with snow balls and even roast some marshmallows. But the big draw of course is to feel the rush of sledding down a hill side. You can go individually or as a family in a larger tube. It’s a bunch of fun and it reminds me of my time in Massachusetts where after work my friends and I would converge on a giant hill to sled into the wee hours of the morning.
