May 10, 2015 Alpharetta – Katie Winans (center) pets Yankee Doodle as Hero plays with a ball at the Pet Lodge pet resort in Alpharetta on Sunday, May 10, 2015. Yankee Doodle and Hero are two of 36 golden retrievers from Istanbul, Turkey that Adopt a Golden Atlanta has brought to Atlanta in the largest rescue of golden retrievers internationally.
