The Grand Canyon

Friday, July 17, 2015

With being so close to the Grand Canyon there was no way I wasn’t going to stop. I headed into the national park early and beat a lot of the crowds. That meant I had some time fairly alone along the Rim Trail. If you’ve never been to the canyon it is very hard to describe the enormity of what lays before your eyes and the slight feeling of insignificance that creeps in when thinking about how long the Colorado River has been cutting through the earth. Although the pictures do a decent job it still pales in comparison to actually seeing the canyon in person. Definitely add it to your list of must see places!
