After a full day of books and cosplay on Saturday, Sunday was a nice change of pace as Grant Park hosted its House in the Park. Local deejays came out as thousands filled the park to barbeque, hang out with friends and family and dance to house music.
Two pavilions were filled to the brim with gyrating bodies as the bass thumped and echoed off of the trees. I had to pick my path carefully through the maze of tents as people sat cooking, eating and talking. It was madness in the best way as I quickly made friends with a bunch of folks enjoying a Sunday in the park.
