I love craft beer and I am not ashamed to admit it. So I never shy away from a chance to go to a brewery. Over the past few years numerous breweries have opened their doors in the metro Atlanta area and are working their way into becoming very successful.
Second Self Beer Company is one such brewery and they celebrated their one year anniversary at the beginning of October. Opened by two Georgia Tech graduates, Jason Santamaria and Chris Doyle, the pair already have plans to expand their operation to keep up with the demand for their delicious line of crafty goodness. To help celebrate their anniversary the brewery threw a party with tastings of some 16 different styles of beer including a few that have been aged in bourbon barrels, a mole porter, a Thai wheat, and many more that tingle and tantalize the tastebuds.
