After finishing up the Red Bull Soap Box Derby I headed over to Piedmont Park for the Atlanta World Kite Festival. It’s been years since I have flown a kite but I must say that being around a bunch of people doing just that made me want to run through the meadow of the park trying to catch the wind.
There were families, couples and friends all putting together their kites and running (sometimes even biking) across the green getting the wind at their backs and raising their kites high into the air.
