The first full week of January ended with some excellent music. First stop was on Friday night as I headed to Variety Playhouse in Little 5 Points for the Bitchin’ Bajas and Deerhunter show.
Bitchin’ Bajas, a collaboration between Cooper Crain (Cave), Dan Quinlavin and Rob Frye, started off the night with their eclectic mix of experimental sound.
Bradford Cox, Moses Archuleta, Josh McKay and Lockett Pundt were welcomed back to their home town with thunderous applause as the indie rock band took the stage. The band’s newest album is Fading Frontier.
