The folks who brought Seed Kitchen & Bar and Stem Wine Bar to Atlanta are at it again with the opening of Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar. Just to prove you don’t have to dine in town to have a hit, Drift is located in The Avenue East Cobb in Marietta.
Like the name says, Drift is all about seafood. Simply prepared and focusing on coastal American, the team led by Chef Doug Turbush, employs both modern and age old live wood fire cooking techniques that make the dishes pop with flavor.
And let’s not forget the large bar that greets you when you walk though the door. That means craft cocktails are definitely on the menu. Try the Drifter or the smoked old fashioned. Both tantalize the taste buds but aren’t overpowered.
