May 2, 2015 Atlanta – Allan Hutchinson (right) and his sister Amy watch Christopher White as he performs during the Arts at Oakland presents Roam Transmissions’ The Cryptophonic Tour at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta on Saturday, May 2, 2015. 17 sound artists had exhibits throughout the cemetery during the tour. The program featured performance art and music inspired by Oakland’s musical past as well as conversations with scholars, writers, and researchers who specialize in the relationships between death, music, and memorialization in American history.
