December 10, 2014 Atlanta – Eric Riesenberg is the Director of Operations for the Atlanta Center for Medical Research. When the center opened recently in the old Southwest Atlanta Hospital, it became, by far, the largest independent medical research facility ever constructed here that is devoted entirely to medical research. It was a tangible sign not just of growth at ACMR, a private business that does drug testing on volunteer patients for pharmaceutical firms doing clinical trials, but of the broader gains made in this booming bioscience industry in Atlanta and Georgia where it means more businesses and more jobs.
