Imaging USA in Nashville

Saturday, January 31 through Tuesday, February 3, 2015

So every year I take a few days to learn more about my art in an intense way. That;s not to say that I am not always trying to learn something new or how to do something better but given a few days in a row to meet up with friends from across the country and geek out on photography is always something that I look forward to. This year PPA’s Imaging USA event was held in Nashville, Tennessee. So I packed up my gear and my car and headed to the country music capital of the world. I attended a bunch of classes and ate some great food and I even got a chance to check out the world famous Bluebird Cafe where singers and songwriters play their favorite music in a really intimate setting. One of the things I look forward to most of all is the chance to practice photography out in the streets and that is just what my friends and I did. Right on Broadway underneath the neon lights of bars and boot stores we put some of what we had learned throughout the past few days into practice.
