After a nice evening up at a campground in Gold Beach, I awoke to find these amazing rocks along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean. I watched the waves crash through the hole in this one formation for about 30 minutes marveling at the immense power of water. I had never seen the Oregon coast before this trip, outside of Portland. I think if I had traveled just a little farther north I might have run into where the movie The Goonies was filmed many years ago. Either way it was a great way to start a day of adventure as I was heading for the Oregon Caves National Monument. Check out those photos tomorrow!
