With Halloween only two weeks away it is time to start looking for the perfect pumpkin! Soon to be turned into jack-o-lanterns with faces that range from sweet to scary these orange gourds are starting to dot front porches and driveways in my neighborhood. I went on a search to find a good pumpkin and that led me to a few new places. My first stop was to Scottsdale Farms in Alpharetta. Hundreds of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes were laid out in a wooded area at the front of the farm. It was like walking through a forest where instead of pine cones there were pumpkins strewn over the pine needle covered floor. It was almost something out of a storybook (with a little imagination).
