With Easter this coming Sunday what better way to prepare than to have an Easter egg hunt? That’s just what hundreds of people did at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta during the Spring Egg-stravaganza. Treat-filled eggs were handed out in different sections of the museum that led visitors through the numerous exhibits on display. There were also games, a scavenger hunt, craft stations and a petting zoo area that had farm animals including a pot belly piglet, a rabbit, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, even a baby kangaroo and a capuchin monkey.
The animals were by far the most popular but children and their families were able to explore all the museum had to offer during the quest for the pastel colored, plastic, treat-filled orbs of Easter.
