Justin Anthony has been hard at work in Atlanta as of late. Having opened Cape Dutch at the beginning of November last year, one might think that the restaurateur might take a well deserved break. But not Anthony. The last week in January he opened his newest concept with Biltong Bar at Ponce City Market.
Biltong Bar is a South African take on beef jerky mixed with cocktails. One can take a seat at the bar, order a slab of biltong (jerky), get set up with a bowie knife attached to a cutting board, order a delicious cocktail and spend some time with friends eating and drinking. A favorite is sliced biltong mixed with salt & vinegar potato chips. Not very healthy but awfully delicious.
