Saturday was full of music for me. It actually started the evening before with the Wire & Wood preview party at Avalon and ended with more performances at the Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival in downtown Alpahretta Saturday evening. But in between I headed down to the Oakhurst PorchFest on Saturday morning. For the past couple of years the Oakhurst neighborhood has cleaned their porches and turned them into stages for local musicians to perform throughout the day. For seven or so hours, music drifted down the streets as people set up chairs on front lawns to watch and listen to the likes of False Hearted Lovers, David Leonard, Sydney Rhame and more.
