The fair has come back to Atlanta and I couldn’t be more excited! From a photography standpoint a day at the fair is fantastic. There’s so much to see, the food, the rides, the games, the people. It’s like the proverbial shooting fish in a barrel. Around every corner is a photograph to be made. Personally, I have very fond memories of the fair growing up. Riding the swings and the claw, the merry-go-round and the sizzler. They have been around forever, even if each fair has a different name for them. The food in all its fried goodness from corndogs to funnel cakes has a special taste when coming from a fair. Maybe it’s the type of grease. Who knows? So needless to say I was excited to visit the Atlanta Fair at Turner Field’s gray lot on Saturday. I spent a few hours people watching and taking some photos. It was an enjoyable, warm day with the sun shining and the temperatures reaching into the 70s. It couldn’t be more perfect!
