I photographed the first night of the grand re-opening celebration for the Georgia Theatre in Athens on Monday, August 1, 2011. A fire gutted the Athens music icon in June of 2009 and after two years of construction and restoration, Monday marked the first night of a two week celebration featuring The Glands and Madeline. These are my favorite images from the show.
