Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta

I photographed volunteers building tables at the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta in Midtown for a Three of a Kind photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Friday, June 8, 2012. The furniture bank collects, makes and provides home furnishings for the recently homeless, people living with HIV and women and children fleeing abusive households. Close to 1,000 people from all over Atlanta volunteer their time to build furniture and sort donations each year.
