I photographed the Midsummer Nights Mayors Challenge 5k and Fun for the Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau on Friday, July 20, 2012. Hundreds of runners braved the inclement weather to participate in the race as well as enjoy a movie afterwards in downtown Alpharetta Runners between the ages of 6 and 80 participated in the 16th annual event. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Alpharetta and the city, proceeds from the race benefited numerous non profit charities in North Fulton.
