Each Saturday for 10 weeks young children from four years old all the way through eighth grade put on protective pads and helmets and learn the game of football. There are hundreds of youth leagues all over metro Atlanta that coach thousands of young players the sport. The Alpharetta Youth Football League is one of these organizations. On Saturday, the Purple Eagles fought against the Burgundy Eagles on the gridiron during a flag football game. I photographed the game for a Three of a Kind photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
