Saturday, December 1, 2012

Around 50 protesters gathered at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody on Saturday morning. The city has decided to construct a 12 foot walking path that will run through the 100 acre park. The construction calls for the removal of 337 trees from the park and the aforementioned protesters are upset. While at the park they tied ribbons on each of the trees that are scheduled to be cut down as well as signed petitions to help stop the construction.
