Thousands of people came out to Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta for food, music, drinks and most importantly to raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis during the fifth annual ShamRockin’ for a Cure. The St. Patrick’s Day themed party included live performances by Hard Crush and The Breakfast Club as well as food tastings from 12 different restaurants including the Roswell Tap, Ceviche, Adele’s Cajun Restaurant, Roux and Sage. The drinks kept flowing as the evening moved into the fundraising portion which included a silent auction as well as a live auction where trips, golf and driving experiences, a motorcycle and much more were sold to the highest bidder with all of the money going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This is an amazing event to be a part of and it is with great pleasure that I present a few of my favorite moments from the evening.
