Round three of the NCAA Mens D1 Golf Championship tournament was held at the Capital City Club’s Crabapple Course in Milton, Georgia on Thursday. This was the final regular round of play for the 25 teams competing for the championship title and only eight of the teams would be moving on. LSU’s Zach Wright, Andrew Presley, Curtis Thompson, Smylie Kaufman and Stewart Jolly were down coming out of round 2 but were not completely out of contention. Unfortunately the team finished tied at 23rd place and was knocked out of the quarterfinal round that happened on Friday.
