Happy belated birthday America! Fourth of July has come and gone for another year. I look forward to the festivities surrounding the birth of the United States as a nation. Whether it’s music or parades or food or fireworks, people all over Atlanta come together to celebrate.
For me, Saturday started off with rain and a bunch of it. After watching the Avondale Estates Fourth of July Parade I headed up to Roswell and more specifically Barrington Hall for their inaugural BBQ & Bluegrass. There was a bit of both at the historic home that sits just outside of the downtown square. People toured the home and property or enjoyed some of the bbq being served up as the band SmokeRise played bluegrass. The music and the food were moved inside because of the weather but that didn’t stop people from coming out and enjoying America’s birthday.
