The Atlanta Beltline is one of the city’s best features in my opinion. I have spent numerous hours along the Eastside Trail and other sections of the multi use, roundabout way to see different parts of the city.
On Friday, I made my way down to the West End neighborhood of Atlanta to finally check out the Westside Trail. Eventually the entire beltline will loop around the city. But for now, certain sections including the Westside, are under different phases of construction.
With my poor decision making skills, I decided to hit up the trail a couple of days after it had rained. So needless to say the trail, which is nothing more than a dirt path at this point, was a little hard to traverse. Got to love Georgia red clay…
