Each week, the Publix Aprons Cooking School in Alpharetta holds classes that let customers travel around the world in a culinary sense. The classes range from culinary delights to deserts to street food. Whether you just like to watch or get your hands dirty the chefs at the school provide insightful tips, step by step instructions and delicious food to cause your taste buds to go crazy. Friday involved a demonstration class on street food from across the globe where 12 people watched the three chefs at the school create tasty treats from the Meditteranean, the Far East and other parts of the world. Each of the five courses were paired with a wine offering. For the time being there are only eight cooking schools in the grocery store giant’s offerings. Seven of them are located throughout Florida, with the Alpharetta location off of Old Milton Parkway, the only one in Georgia.
