Getting back from vacation is hard. Things inevitably pile up and it always seems that there is a game of catch up I must play. So it has taken a few days to compile these photos from the last few days of my trip to Denver and Breckenridge. Breckenridge is nestled in the Rocky Mountains west of Denver and is a snowboarder’s (and skier’s) paradise. Peaks of varying degrees surround the quaint town and it is just a short ride up a gondola to get to the base of the runs. Not into heading down a slope? There are plenty of other activities! Cross country, also known as nordic, skiing is one option. As well as snow shoeing. We took an hour to go snow tubing at Frisco Adventure Park, just a few miles outside of Breck. We flew down the runs with the wind whipping through our hair and the sun shining on our faces!
