Emory University Hospital is changing the face of downtown as construction continues on the Proton Therapy Center as part of the Winship Cancer Institute. The building is a little plain as compared to the surrounding ones but it holds valuable real estate in the midtown corridor with the property facing Peachtree St., North Ave., Ponce de Leon Ave. and Juniper St. When it is finally completed, the center will be able to offer some of the most advanced radiation therapy treatments for cancer patients. Construction will be complete in 2016.
