I didn’t know what to expect from Tanglewood Farm in Canton as I drove into the country on Wednesday. I turned onto the final gravel road and as I pulled up to the farm, the sounds of animals greeted me. Tanglewood is a petting zoo that specializes in miniatures. From goats, to alpacas, to even buffalo, one of the main purposes of the farm is to preserve the miniature bloodlines that have been all but eradicated in the wake of big farming. Michelle, the owner, has been operating the attraction for over 20 years on just 10 acres of land where she cares for 20 breeds totaling around 150 animals.
